What is "The Wurst Contest?"

Volktoberfest 2015 kicks off the first annual "Wurst Contest."  Contestants will have 3 minutes to devour as much bratwurst as they can eat. The title will go to the champion who eats the most in the allotted time. Simple, slightly embarassing prizes will be given.

Club Bratwurst Battle

 Each local club will nominate a competitor to represent them in battle. The clubs will prove their worth in wurst.

Rules

1. The bratwurst is provided free of charge

2. Contestants will have 3 minutes to eat as much Bratwurst as possible

3. Contestants must be at least 18 years of age or over

4. Water is the only beverage permitted during the competition

5. Contestants will wait for the whistle to start, then will be timed with a stopwatch

6. Condiments will be provided if desired

7. Any bratwurst and bun in the contestant's mouth when the whistle blows will be counted, as long as it is then swallowed.

8. Dunking and crunching the bratwurst and bun is permitted

9. Separating the hotdog and bun is permitted

10. Contestants must not touch the bratwurst or bun until the whistle officially starts the competition

11. Any Contestant caught breaking the rules will be disqualified.
