Saturday, February 10th  Swap Meet (crash dummies)

Swap meet will run from 8:00am to about dark, then we will start up a fire and hang out all night. Spots are $20 each. Free to spectators. We will have food and drinks available for purchase on site. Bring your bus or tent and stay the night! I will add more details as I get them.

Sunday, Feb. 11th Mardi Gras Parade, 1pm-3pm

Join us as Das Klub participates in the Oakcliff Mardi Gras Parade. This is a unique parade with a creative/small town feel. The lineup will start at 1pm, the parade will start at 2pm and most likely be done by 3pm. We will need to make our cars look awesome with decorations...and we will need beads. This is a family friendly event.

March 24th, 13th Blooming Good Show

8:00am-2:00pm, downtown Nacogdoches, Tx. Das Klub is camping Friday and Saturday night at Ratcliff Recreation area. Entry fee to get your car in the gate; $5. Registration for the show $10.   Friday evening cruise out to Mission Tejas State Park and welcome the other bus campers who are camping in the park the night before the  show. Cruise starts at 5:30pm from the Foretravel parking lot on Highway 21 west and the west loop for the 25 mile cruise through the piney woods to the park.

April 20th-22nd,  Texas VW Classic

Come join us in Fredericksburg, TX for a weekend of camping, cruising and Volkswagenism! Roll through the hill country on the Bluebonnet Rally on Friday. Then wake up early Saturday to show off your VW to the masses, check out the competition, and navigate the sea of spare parts, used cars, toys, and other VW items. Spectators get in free, and only $20 to enter a car in the show!

Fredericksburg is an historic German settlement full of shopping, entertainment, historic sights and tourist attractions. This is a beautiful time of year in Texas so if you can, do yourself a favor and join in the camp-out. The onsite RV park has lots of open camping space for $10/night and reservable RV spaces for $30/night. If you cannot camp, make sure to make hotel reservations early! This is a rain or shine show, and usually get at least a little rain during the weekend so prepare accordingly, especially if camping. This is a kid-friendly event, with several playground areas in the park available every day. Pets are welcome, but must be leashed at all times. Food will be available from vendors during the car show.
